On the March of 24th in 1999 black clouds have covered the Planet. Nazi NATO KILLERS attacked sovereign country YUGOSLAVIA and with that they started biggest catastrophe in this century. They thought that little, peaceful and proud people would get on there knees under hard strikes of aggressor bombs, but what they got was entirely different: PEOPLE OF SERBIA HAVE UNITED AND ARE STRONGER THEN EVER BEFORE. Serbia is being under attack for weeks but NATO ASSASSINS are only gaining loses. Their bombs are mostly hitting civilian objects.

Novi Sad was hit first. On 23.03.1999. at about 20.00h and again at 20.30h heavy explosion have shattered the city. During the next few days Novi Sad was spared, but on the 1st of April NATO KILLERS have destroyed the proud and hart of Novi Sad, The Old Bridge. One of our writers, Nobel Prize Winner, Ivo Andric, who loved and wrote mostly about bridges, wrote that bridges are constructions with the soul, because they connect people and their souls. NAZI NATO KILLERS tried to destroy the soul of Novi Sad and to destroy the moral of the people,but on contrary NOVI SAD IS STRONGER THEN EVER.

People of Novi Sad were still in shock when NATO AGGRESSORS on April the 3rd destroyed the second of three souls of Novi Sad, The Bridge Of Freedom. Although it was destroyed, its name left in each one of us and we will carry it untill WE REALLY ARE FREE.
